WHAT’S AN AVERAGE DAY AT CAMP LIKE?

The first evening of Saturday Oct 13th we will have a registration at Ski Dubai. You can come and pick up your camp credentials and meet the coaches and staff. We will be talking to everyone about the week and answering any questions that you may have. The camp runs in the evenings for 5 days total from Sunday Oct 14th - 18th. Each day you will arrive at Ski Dubai at 4pm. Once everyone is gathered together we will do some stretching from 4:15pm - 4:35pm. After this we will get our gear on and head out to the slopes. The first half hour will be taking some fun laps with the pros. This is just some time to warm up your legs and have some fun. From 5:30 - 6:30pm will be your first coaching clinic with your pro coach. The first session may be on the rails, jumps, or airbag. During this time you will be able to try to learn new tricks that you are working on. The coach will be there to film and give you tips and advice. Helping you progress your riding to the next level. The first clinic will end at 6:30pm when we will take a quick half hour break for dinner at the food court. At 7:00pm we will meet back at Ski Dubai for the second clinic with the pro coach. If you were riding rails in the first session, you will now be riding jumps in the second clinic and visa versa. The second clinic will end at 8pm. At this time we will all go inside for video review. Your coach will watch the footage they recorded of you and analyze your tricks to see what can be done to make improvements. We will be finished at 9pm.

HOW MUCH TIME WILL I SPEND WITH THE PROS?

The majority of your time on hill will be spent riding or being filmed by the pros. They will be taking the warm up laps with you and then when you start the clinics they will be standing near the feature filming you and be able to give you tips and advice on how to improve your tricks while helping you learn new ones.

HOW MANY CAMPERS WILL THERE BE PER COACH?

This depends on the number of applicant who sign up. We are expecting around seven campers per pro coach. For example seven snowboarders will be riding with Red Gerard and seven skiers will be riding with Tom Wallisch. Our goal it to have groups small enough so you can get full attention from YOUR COACH, but also enough people in the group because it is more fun to ride and learn tricks with friends.

WHAT WILL THE CAMP FEATURES BE. HOW BIG IS THE JUMP AND WHAT TYPE OF RAILS?

There will be one jump with two takeoffs. The left takeoff will be roughly 10 meters to the landing and the right takeoff will be 5 meters to the landing. There will be multiple rail set ups including a down bar, flat bar, flat down rail, boxes, a kinked rail and more. WE WILL ALSO HAVE THE AIRBAG SET UP AS WELL.
